Bio: Torrey B is a singer, vocalist, and rhythm guitarist whose roots run through both collaborative band work and a growing solo career. Coming up through the band Mothership alongside guitarist Scott L., bassist Alec W., and drummer Chris L., Torrey helped craft a sound rooted in groove and energy that laid the foundation for what came next with FreeSoul, an expanded outfit that added Dakota S. on drums and Devin B. on saxophone. The band captured their journey on “Past and Present,” a release pairing earlier Mothership recordings with new FreeSoul originals. On the solo front, Torrey stepped out with his debut album “FreeSoul,” a more personal collection of tracks including “Ms. Mystery,” “Come On Over,” “Cold Coffee,” and the collaborative cut “Outside The Door.” Currently, Torrey performs alongside Nic G., bringing his live show to audiences with the same groove-forward energy and genuine songcraft that has defined his work from the start.
