Band Bio:
This duo consists of Mike Slusser and Linda Null.
Mandolin Mike Slusser is a talented and gifted mandolin player and multi-instrumentalist with over four decades of experience, including 17 years in Nashville. Mike has established himself as a virtuosic and versatile player who is equally at home playing traditional bluegrass tunes or exploring more contemporary genres, while singing lead and harmony vocals.
Linda Null is a dynamic and soulful vocalist best known for singing in her former and very busy duo, Acoustic Moose. Linda has a loyal following in South Central PA as well as Northern VA. With a voice reminiscent of Etta James and Janis Joplin, she plays keyboard and guitar, sings lead, and joins Mike to create exquisite vocal harmonies.
Hopeless Semantics plays a wide variety of Americana music, including classic rock, country, blues, and bluegrass. This duo focuses on harmonies and the use of multiple 6-string guitars, combined with 12-string guitar and mandolin, as well as keyboard, to provide a very diverse and memorable show.
