He is a pianist and singer that has studied under some of the best teachers in the world at the Shenandoah Conservatory in Winchester\, VA. Mo maintains a deep love and understanding of music\, which keeps him passionate about all his musical endeavors.\nMary McCarthy was born to be a vocalist\, yet it wasn’t until 2022 that she began singing professionally—seeking something more out of life\, and she found it in music. With a voice and lyrics that can quiet a room\, her passion and energy captivate every audience\, leaving a lasting impression on all who have the pleasure of hearing her perform.\nMo & Mary Mac came together in April 2022 after meeting at a local music festival in Culpeper\, Virginia\, where they shared the stage with seven other musicians and captivated the crowd. DESCRIPTION:Join us on Saturday\, September 6th\, from 3-6PM for live music by Joe Bernui \nBio:\nJoe Bernui has been playing music professionally for decades. Starting in the early 80’s\, he was lead guitar player in a Washington\, DC area band “Ignition\,” also contributing solid vocal harmonies and an occasional lead vocal.\nDuring the 1990’s Joe’s next band “Shirkaday” found themselves in need of a lead singer. Having no luck finding a suitable vocalist through auditions\, Joe became that band’s lead singer in addition to playing guitar.\nAs the “Acoustic Rock” genre became popular in the mid-late 90’s\, Joe began doing solo shows\, finding it to be much more lucrative\, while still playing with a number of bands in Northern Virginia.\nFor the last 15+ years\, Joe has been doing mostly solo/acoustic shows. Now living in Sarasota\, FL\, he has been working steadily at Tiki Bars\, Restaurants\, Country Clubs and private parties\, occasionally as part of a duo.\nJoe’s long-time bandmate and songwriting partner\, Brian Curtiss will be joining him for this show at Flying Ace!

You can catch him performing with his full band Ghost Pepper and at solo & duo performances throughout the Tri-State area. \nGhost Pepper is a 4-piece Party Rock cover band originating out of Northern Virginia and Central Maryland. The band formed around 2013 from a collection of high energy\, top-talent veterans that just couldn’t get enough Red Hot Chili Peppers\, Foo Fighters\, 90s hip hop\, & Prince. Their unique brand of entertainment fuses massive guitar tones and solid rhythmic grooves to create medleys and mashups of danceable rock and funk tunes that will make you want to wave your hands in the air like you just don’t care. Always fresh\, never frozen! \nNow hailed as one of Loudoun County’s ‘Best of Loudoun’ as voted by the community in Loudoun Times\, Ghost Pepper has performed well over 150 shows and have performed in over 30 cities.
