Bloody Butcher Cream Ale

Cream Ale, 5.0% ABV, 18 IBU’s

A true example of “farm to glass”, our cream ale recipe includes almost 300 pounds of our heirloom Bloody Butcher Corn grown here on our farm. The corn imparts a super creamy mouthfeel and leaves a residual sweetness after each sip. To compliment this flavor, we juiced tangerines and added it cold-side and we then hopped with Amarillo hops in order to celebrate the heirloom grain. A cream ale unlike any other, from a farm brewery unlike any other; cheers and enjoy.

Pilot’s Pilsner

German Pilsner, 5.2% ABV ~ 12 IBU’S

German Pilsner malt in conjunction with Lager yeast fermented at ale temperatures makes our Fortified Pilsner stand out. Malty sweetness balanced with Hallertau and Tettnang hops makes for an easy drinking, higher ABV pilsner that’s sure to become “I don’t know what to get so I’ll get the pilsner” or even your favorite easy drinking go-to. Either way, cheers and enjoy responsibly.

“Wilco” Wit

WITBIER, 5.4% ABV ~ 22.6 IBU’S

This is our example of a classic Witbier. We infused sweet and bitter orange peel, coriander, and grains of paradise into the boil to bring you a citrus and spicy beer. Winter White Wheat provides the majority of the grain, giving you a creamy mouthful and grain finish. An all day, all season drinker at 5.4% ABV, enjoy responsibly, OUT.

“Red Tail” Irish Red Ale

Irish Red Ale, 4% ABV ~ 21 IBU’S

Red Tail Irish Red Ale is our take on the classic malty ale hailing from the land of Saints and Scholars. We used a blend of crystal malts and roasted barley to achieve a mild body and sweet finish, as well as caramel, vanilla, and smokey roasty notes. This beer has a deep amber and copper hue with a creamy head and is best enjoyed with a side of corned beef and cabbage or shepherd’s pie.

“military hop”

NEW ENGLAND IPA

NEIPA, 6% ABV ~ 25.5 IBU’S

Hops on Hops. Our New England IPA is made with Amarillo, Mosaic, Lotus, and Trident hops in the boil. We then dry hopped with ample amounts of Mosaic, Lotus, and Simcoe hops giving you a mouthful of tropical fruit, citrus, and hoppy goodness. True to style, this beer is not filtered and still has the hops in suspension to give you the freshest hop experience available.

“Guns A Go-Go”

West Coast IPA

WEST COAST IPA 5.4% ABV ~ 50 IBU’S

Our West Coast IPA features three heavy hitting hop varieties; Chinook, Centennial, and Simcoe providing dank citrus flavor. The yeast we used for this IPA was sourced from our friends at Jasper Yeast Labs in Dulles, VA giving the beer a smooth finish and allowing the hop character to shine through. This West Coast flies in at 5.4% ABV and 50 IBU’s, so you don’t have to catch a flight to enjoy the west coast.

“mayday” double dry hopped new england double ipa

NEDIPA, 8.2% ABV ~ 44 IBU’S

Our “Mayday” IPA is a Double Hazy IPA that has been dry hopped twice during fermentation with Lotus and Trident hops, giving the freshest possible hop flavors and aromas. Flavors of orange creamsicle, passion fruit, berries and other tropical fruits balance the big malty profile of this beer and meld into the 8.2% ABV. A combination of oats, wheat and suspended hop particulate from dry hopping is what gives “Mayday” IPA its hazy appearance and chewy mouthfeel. This is a big beer with a big attitude; it’ll be sure to make you call “Mayday.”

“CROSSFIRE” HAZY DOUBLE IPA

HAZY DIPA, 10.2% ABV ~ 38 IBU’S

Crossfire Hazy DIPA is double dry hopped with Citra, Mosaic, Cashmere and Vic Secret hops making this beer an absolute juice bomb. The flavor is dominated by strong notes of orange and citrus, followed by sweet honeydew melon, while finishing with a candy-like sweetness. The usage of malted white wheat in addition to brewing salts gives Crossfire its hazy appearance and lends to a full bodied mouthfeel and perceived sweetness.  This beer finished at a whopping 10.5% with 38 IBUs, so be sure not to get “stuck in the Crossfire”.

“Flight Plan” IPL

India Pale Lager, 5.8% ABV ~ 51 IBU’S

Flight Plan is a single malt and single hop (SMASH) India Pale Lager where we used only German pilsner malt for the mash, and Amarillo hops for the boil. This gives the beer a super clean and light character allowing the flavor and complexity of the Amarillo hops to come forward and become highlighted. “Flight Plan” is similar in style to an IPA, but by using lager yeast and lagering the beer, we have achieved a lighter body and crisper mouthfeel with the same balance between hops and malt.

“Prototype Delta Delta 1” Doppelbock

Doppelbock, 8.5% ABV ~ 21 IBU’S

Doppelbock translates to “double” bock, meaning this German style beer is twice the potency of a normal Bock Beer. Traditionally, Doppelbocks were created by monks to have a more substantial “meal” during fasting. Our Doppelbock has notes of toffee, caramel, and raisins and has a deep copper hue. This beer sits at 8.5% ABV and 21 IBUs, cheers and enjoy this one responsibly.

Bourbon Barrel Aged “Bee-2” Bomber Honey Ale

HONEY ALE, 8.14% ABV ~ 28 IBU’S

We aged our Bee-2 Honey Ale in freshly dumped bourbon barrels for 6 months, developing a smooth bourbon flavor and bringing the subtle honey notes to the front of the palate. Malty sweetness and latent hop bitterness round out the flavor profile on this barrel aged beer, making for an enjoyable drinking experience and a bomb of flavors.

“Vin De Gourd” Ale

“VIN DE GOURD,” BIERE DE GARDE 6.2% ABV ~ 26 IBU’S

Vin de Gourd is a Biere de Garde style ale aged in red wine barrels sourced from Fabbioli Cellars in Leesburg, VA utilizing roasted yellow squash grown here on our farm. Biere de Garde translates to “beer for keeping”, as the beer would be kept in barrels during the winter months to be served later in the following warmer seasons. Vin de Gourd has a complex profile with notes of toffee and honey while the red wine barrels add latent grape and a subtle oak aroma, giving this beer a fantastic funky farmhouse flavor. This brew is wildly unique, paired well with piquant cheese and smoked meats, and is an absolute delight to sip.

Pumpkin Pie Brown Porter

Porter, 5% ABV ~ 20 IBU’S

It’s the season of Pumpkin Spice and we’re in full swing here at the farm. We’ve crafted our Pumpkin Spice Brown Porter to tantalize your taste buds and get you your Fall favorite fix. Over 100 pounds of Field Trip Pumpkins, sourced from Loudounberry Farm, were roasted on the farm and tossed into the mash. In addition, we spiced our beer with a blend of Cinnamon, Ginger, Nutmeg, Clove, and Allspice to complete the Pumpkin Spice flavor and compliment the sweetness of the roasted gourd. This beer is spooky good at 5% ABV and is a suitable replacement for your morning Pumpkin Spice latte. Cheers!

Bourbon Barrel Aged Pumpkin Porter

 Porter, 6.4% ABV~ 20 IBU’S

Brewed in September of 2021 and then aged for a full 12 months in freshly dumped Bourbon barrels, our Bourbon Barrel Aged Pumpkin Porter is ready for release. The base beer is still present, with a strong presence of Pumpkin Pie spice flavor and aroma, but is now partnered with the flavors and aromas of barrel aging. The bourbon adds a warming effect and flavor that compliments the spice blend, while the barrel imparts a smooth oak finish that lingers after every sip

“Coco Cargo”

Coffee Stout

COFFEE STOUT, 5% ABV ~ 28 IBU’S

With a healthy payload of Cacao Nibs in the boil paired with roasted barley and chocolate malts in the mash, Coco Cargo American Stout packs a smooth chocolate flavor with roasty coffee undertones. Coco Cargo pours dark brown with a thick tan head and has a full bodied mouthfeel, sure to please stout lovers and chocoholics.

Bourbon Barrel Aged “Coco Cargo” Coffee Stout w/ Peppers

COFFEE STOUT, 6% ABV ~ 28 IBU’S

We took a portion of our Coco Cargo chocolate stout and aged it in our freshly dumped bourbon barrels with the addition of Guajillo and Mulato dried peppers, for 3 months. The barrel imparts a smooth vanilla flavor and oak character to the beer, while the two peppers add slight smokiness accentuating the roasted malts of the stout, and a latent heat that builds on the palate with every sip. This stout finished at a seissionable 6% ABV, and is best shared from a bottle with good company.

STRAWBERRY GUAVA LACTOSE SOUR ALE

Sour, 5.4% ABV – 11 IBU’S

Over 160 pounds of strawberries and guava were used in making this sour ale, in addition to 50 pounds of lactose in the boil. Big fruity flavors and a pleasant tart finish make this sour ale highly crushable.
