Join us on Saturday, January 10th, from 3-6pm for live music featuring Robert Mabe.
Musician Bio:
As a kid growing up in North Carolina, Robert was surrounded by many great bluegrass musicians. In fact, his grandfather was a guitar/bass player who also performed at The Grand Ole Opry.
When his parents gave him a banjo at age 12, he began taking lessons and attending local bluegrass jams and he was soon hooked.
Listening to Earl Scruggs, Bela Fleck, and all things bluegrass, he also became interested in other styles of music including Jazz, Irish, and Blues. While taking banjo lessons he would also seek out piano, guitar, and sax teachers to translate their styles to banjo.
This was not just for the love of the banjo but also for the love of live performance. Over the years Robert has performed thousands of live shows across the USA and abroad; in 2013 he was honored to perform at Carnegie Hall.
Robert has recorded with many great musicians including Larry Keel, Clay Jones, and Patrick McAvinue. Roberts solo studio release, “Somewhere in the Middle”, was written and produced by Robert, showcasing his versitile songwriting skills and includes an all star cast of musicians.
“Somewhere in the Middle” also caught the attention of Bluegrass Today and Bluegrass Unlimited who both published rave reviews and high praise of the project. Currently Robert is touring the US full time with around 100 dates a year on the calendar. In addition to festivals and music venues, he performs dozens of private events each year.

Gary’s style of music consists of Classic Rock, Country Rock, soulful Blues Rock or what he likes to call: “flat out guitar-driven blues-infused rural contemporary music”…he has a great appreciation for all types of music and sometimes will incorporate soul, R&B, funk, country and ‘show tunes’ into his playing. Gary also gives back to the community by playing shows for numerous benefits and charities throughout the region. He is a well respected and hard working musician, playing 200+ shows a year.

Bio:
Known to genre bend, Alex Kerns covers a wide range of artists and songs. From the classic sounds of the Beatles to Tyler Childers to the Americana vibe of his own originals. Hailing from Berryville, Virginia, Alex Kerns is the cofounder and bass player of the Low Water Bridge band. Alex Kerns is regionally well known and always leaves a smile on the faces of the fans and patrons that attend his shows.
Born and raised in Clarke County, Virginia, Alex Kern’s has been playing up and down the Shenandoah Valley for the past 15 years. He is currently the bass player for Low Water Bridge Band, but also pursues a busy acoustic solo career. He’s played everywhere from small amphitheaters to small back yard private parties and always a perfect fit for just about any occasion.

Joey Hafner is a vocalist and guitar player based in Lovettsville, Virginia, delivering high-energy acoustic performances as a solo artist and as the front man of the party rock cover band Ghost Pepper. With a musical journey that began at age nine, Joey was shaped by the alternative explosion of the 90s, drawing early inspiration from bands like Jane’s Addiction, Smashing Pumpkins, and Pearl Jam. Known for engaging, crowd-friendly sets, Joey blends alternative rock, 90s hip hop, classic rock, and country into performances built for wineries, breweries, and live entertainment venues throughout Northern Virginia and Central Maryland. His shows often feature creative mashups, familiar sing-alongs, and the occasional surprise throwback, creating a fun, energetic atmosphere that keeps audiences involved from start to finish. Whether performing solo, in a duo, or leading Ghost Pepper, Joey brings professionalism, versatility, and genuine passion to every stage.
